Neem oil is an effective pesticide, and as such, it is able to kill any pests that may have found their way into your carpet or mattress. Much of the time, pests that have attached themselves to your carpet or mattress are not visible to the naked eye, and so alternative solutions are required to dispose of them. Not only that, but if left untreated, pests can reproduce, allowing the next generation to populate your carpet or your mattress.
To use neem oil as a carpet cleaner, add 10 drops of neem oil to your carpet shampoo and clean as normal. To use it as a mattress cleaner, you can use a neem oil spray to cover your mattress. Once sprayed, wait for it to dry, then flip and repeat on the other side.
Neem oil is effective at killing mites, microbes, fungi, and bacteria residing in your carpet and on your mattress.
